Call for Editors, Writers and Collaborators

The Editorial Board of the Ninth Volume of the University of Puerto Business Law Journal formally opens its Call for Editors, Collaborators, and Collaborative Writers. We invite the students of the University of Puerto Rico School of Law to apply to any of the available positions. Candidates with excellent legal citation skills are encouraged to apply for Editor. Collaborators assist the Editorial Board during the organization and execution of activities, such as our Induction Ceremony, conferences, and symposiums. Collaborative Writers have the option of publishing articles, student notes, or case notes on matters related to the particular areas of law that the Journal works with, which might be published in our Ninth Volume or in our webpage and other electronic media platforms.

Since its launch, the University of Puerto Rico Business Law Journal has attracted authors from almost every continent to portray and critique recent developments in Business Law and related areas. Conceiving the law as a key instrument for economic development, the Journal’s yearly volume covers a diverse array of topics of interest to business, policy and legal professionals, e.g., corporate & securities law, intellectual property protection, labor & employment matters, taxation affairs, trade & financial regulation, and transactional & financing issues. The Journal is seeking for talented, enthusiastic law students willing to develop a set of high-valued skills in a collegiate and collaborative environment.

Completed applications will be accepted until 11:55 PM of Thursday, September 21, 2017. They should be sent directly to uprblj@gmail.com, under the subject: Ninth Volume Staff Application.
